Violin replica Jacob Stainer
Year of construction: ca 1800
Violin replica of German luthier from Absam Jacob Stainer (1617-1683). Stainer acquired his training as a luthier with several German master luthiers and maybe also with Amati.
This replica made in Germany ca 1800, follows the peculiar constructive features that made his violins so famous.
The violin is in perfect conditions of use. And all its parts are original and have not been retouched.
Its sound is powerful, with great character and offers the characteristic tonal accents of the old violins.
